Every Stellar node we sell comes packaged with the Stellar Horizon API already set up and deployed. You get the easy Blockdaemon launch process and the simplicity of the Horizon API in one complete package. These nodes are basic watcher nodes, which you can submit transactions with and use the Horizon API.

Financial operations require the strongest security possible, and Blockdaemon has gone beyond standard off-the-shelf offerings in hardening our nodes. All nodes -- shared or personal -- require a unique authentication key to access. Calls without it will immediately fail. Additionally, we have added encryption to RPC calls to ensure data passes through securely, and are not passed in clear text.

The Stellar Horizon API is a rich API which has multiple supported SDKs available from Stellar. You can incorporate them in your application and connect directly to the network using languages from C# to Scala. Or, you can make simple REST calls with curl or an API client like Postman. Set up streaming data endpoints and monitor ledgers in real-time, or create offers for tokens. The full capability of the API is at your fingertips.

Blockdaemon has a close partnership with Stellar and is informed of regular updates. As a result, we’re able to stay ahead of maintenance and updates on your node -- API or Core changes. We regularly apply security updates and patches as they are released and tested, so you don’t have to spend long hours managing software.
